So who's the cheapest when it comes to an ADSL account for the average Joe at home? Unfortunately everyone is selling either SAIX or IS (internet solutions) bandwidth. There are only two types of connections available for internet connectivity, under sea cable and via a satellite link. Telkom (SAIX) owns all under sea cables and IS sells bandwidth on their satellite link. All other companies simply resell their services, so its all exactly the same product. Many people don't know this and think because they are paying more for a 3GB account theirs is now faster or bigger. This is not so.
Therefore its wise to go hunting for the cheapest ADSL bandwidth price you can get and this is what we intend to show you.
We Have select the 1GB, 3GB, 5GB and 10GB accounts for the benchmark. Certain amounts were calculate useing the ISP's standard account then included its Top-up amount.
